Dictus collects no data. Your voice is processed entirely on your device — no voice data, no transcribed text, and no keystrokes ever leave your device.
Data Collection
Dictus collects no personal data. Your voice is processed on-device via WhisperKit (CoreML). No analytics, no tracking, no cookies.
Full Access Permission
The iOS keyboard Full Access permission is required solely for microphone access. Dictus does not read the clipboard, log keystrokes, or transmit any data over the network.
Data Usage
No data usage — nothing is collected.
Third-Party Services
No third-party SDKs, analytics services, ad networks, or cloud infrastructure.
Data Retention
User preferences and ML model files are stored locally only. No server-side storage. Uninstalling the app removes everything.
User Rights
No personal data to access, export, or delete. Uninstalling the app removes all local data.
Children’s Privacy
No data is collected from any user, including children under 13.
Security
All processing happens on-device. No servers, no databases, no user accounts. No network transmission of user content.
